Exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Systems lead join Service Stream’s Business Services team
About the Role

Service Stream’s Corporate division are currently seeking a Payroll Systems Lead to join our Business Services team. Reporting directly to the Group Payroll Manager, you will contribute to the profitability and growth of Service Stream by establishing, processing and controlling the Payroll system requirements to ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of related payroll records whilst adhering to the relevant statutory legislation and Service Streams Policies and Procedures.

Nature of position: Permanent Full Time

Location: Collins Street, Melbourne

Reporting Line: Payroll Manager

Key Responsibilities- Proactively lead compliance and risk management in regards to Payroll operations, including related stakeholder processes.- Ensure compliance with all current Company Policies, industrial agreements, statutory regulations including but not limited to PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, portable LSL and redundancy schemes, termination payments, FBT, etc.- Communicate updates to all stakeholders.-
- Review and undertake payroll related audits and reviews and remediation of risk exposure.- Undertake reconciliation, processing, remittance and reporting activities in line with statutory and Company requirements

About You

To be successful for this role, you have:
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of payroll processes- Knowledge of Payroll Tax requirements for all States/Territories- Experience in facilitating system integration with Time & Attendance systems- Experience with Chris21 is highly desired- Experience within the construction and/or call centre industries is desirable- Exposure to Workday HCM is advantageous- Experience with ‘month end’ processing, reporting and 24/7 timesheet coding is advantageous- Exceptional attention detail and numerical & analytical skills
