**About the role**:
To help in our mission to continue being the best in what we do, Storage King is currently seeking an individual to assist in managing our company-wide IT function. Based at our Head Office in North Sydney, you will become a significant stakeholder in several critical initiatives planned by the IT team.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the design and lead the implementation of various IT projects to enhance the overall process within the shared services team and the operating business units
- Support and resolve technical IT incidents as well as improve broad internal IT capabilities to increase and enhance outcomes
- Improve the cyber security posture of the company to prevent and respond to threats and safeguard its information, assets, and services
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry security standards and other legislation identified within the IT risk and compliance framework
- Manage IT security policies, audits, and assessments.

**About you**:
An entrepreneurial mindset, an attitude towards problem-solving, and positive outcomes for the business. Solid technical understanding within your field with the ability to share and communicate data effectively amongst your colleagues. We are looking for someone positive to walk into the environment and effect change to improve Storage King's overall business.

**Skills and attributes for success**:

- At least five years of experience in the IT sector within mid-cap companies
- Relevant tertiary degree and/or recognised qualifications within Information Technology
- Problem-solving - ability to deal with ambiguous circumstances and take an assumption-based approach to drive IT to project outcomes
- Clear communication and presentation skills
- Relationship management - develop and maintain effective working relationships with the ability to influence, advise and support key decision-makers
