We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Anaesthetic Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) to join our dynamic and innovative team. As the Anaesthetic Nursing Unit Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of skilled anaesthetic nurses, providing support to the anaesthetists and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient centred nursing care.

The successful NUM will have extensive specialty knowledge and the ability to prioritise and problem solve issues. You will be responsible and accountable for the daily management of staffing, financial and material resources. The NUM will lead by example, mentoring a team that promotes professionalism and positive workplace culture.

In this role you will develop, implement and approve processes in addition to working collaboratively with the Perioperative management team and other clinical leaders.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 5 years Anaesthetic nursing experience
- Post graduate qualifications relevant to specialty
- Previous experience in a leadership position
- CNS, Floor Manager, Relief NUM role
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
