**About the Role**
The Liaison Support Librarian role focuses on delivering frontline library information services at the Giblin Eunson Library and supporting Liaison Librarians with the delivery of library learning and teaching, and research programs, contributing to the creation and maintenance of library learning resources for Faculty of Education students and researchers.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide library information services, including handling complex enquiries online and via service points and supporting academic staff with learning, teaching, and research.
- Assist in developing, delivering, and evaluating scholarly and digital capabilities programs, and create online content for learning and research support.
- Contribute to collection management tasks and support front-line staff through mentoring and coaching.
- Participate in library-wide programs, student events, and maintain a positive and well-ordered library environment.

**Who we are looking for**

You will have a strong service ethic and experience in managing peak demands, combined with excellent communication skills for professional and sensitive interactions. You will demonstrate strong digital capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A commitment to personal development and, ideally, relevant experience in academic libraries and knowledge of teaching and learning principles will be advantageous.

You will also have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training, with eligibility for or progress towards associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
- Strong digital capability with proficiency in relevant technologies and systems.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a strong service ethic and ability to manage peak demands effectively.
