**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are currently seeking energetic and enthusiastic Cashiers to join a fast paced, dynamic and driven Duty Free retail team at Brisbane Airport.

**DUTIES**
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Process sales via the cash register
- Inform passengers of the conditions relating to their purchases eg customs requirements
- Know and understand the product range.
- Be aware of, and adhere to, Airport security emergency and health and safety procedures.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Cash handling in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- High standard of personal presentation
- Proven experience of operating a point of sale (POS) system
- A reasonable level of physical fitness, as some manual handling/heavy lifting will be involved
- Demonstrated ability to work well and effectively as part of a team and individually
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
- Willingness to work to achieve Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification via an online course

**HOURS**

Due to airport hours, it is important that the individual is flexible with regards to availability for hours of work. Shifts can be very late nights or early mornings within this 22 hour business operation.
