We are currently looking for an experienced individual to start a position with a Local Government Department in a high-level administration field. Ideally, you will have solid experience in a similar role and with Local Government experience.

This position will commence at the end of May for approximately 2-month position working full time hours.

**Position Objective**

As a member of the Operations Support team, deliver proactive and effective coordination to the operational services of the Field Services Portfolio, including the provision of administrative support to leadership members of Field Services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Independently undertake the effective triage, analysis and assignment of customer requests and work orders to ensure tasks are correctly allocated in accordance with identified timeframes.
- Provide proactive support to the Field Services Portfolio by assisting with the efficient operation of administrative processes and services.
- Actively contribute to the review and implementation of streamlined administrative processes, procedures and practices to ensure operational support services meet the diverse and changing needs of the Portfolio.
- Undertake administrative tasks and support to members of the Field Services leadership team including Work Group Leaders, Coordinators and the Manager Field Services.
- Undertake other tasks and project work as directed by the Team Leader Operations Support or Manager Field Services.
- Respond professionally and positively to all requests for support with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience including telephone calls, face to face and written enquiries.
- Assist to identify opportunities to continuously enhance the customer experience and daily operation of the Operations Support Team and Field Services.
- Support the induction and effective training and onboarding of staff within the Operations Support Team and Field Services.
- Positively contribute to our constructive culture by living our values which guide decision making and delivery of outcomes for our community.
- Contribute to the development and operations of a cohesive, supportive, efficient and effective Operations Support team with a strong focus on continuous improvement and our customers_._
