We currently have an opportunity for an Allocator to join our welcoming and supportive despatch team based at our Silverwater office. As an Allocator, you will play a vital role within our business to meet the expectations of our customers by maximising efficiency and utilisation of our fleet of transport vehicles.

This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday, commencing at either 5:30am or 6:30am, with varying finish times to ensure office coverage. Some Saturdays are also part of the schedule.

This role receives an attractive hourly rate with the opportunity to work paid overtime.

Previous Allocator experience is not essential as the successful applicant will receive training in all aspects of the role.

**Responsibilities**
- Use software packages to manage COR, Safety Regulations, rostering and truck movements
- Provide customer service to our concrete plants and external customers
- Allocation of concrete loads ensuring that material is being scheduled and delivered in accordance with COR and safety regulations
- Assist the customer service team as required
- Assist with related administrative duties
- Have a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement values

**What you will need to succeed**
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment of change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse customers
- Sound geographical knowledge of metropolitan and surrounding suburbs of Sydney
- Competent when working with computers and various software packages (training provided)
- Desired but not essential - Experience in planning/scheduling within the transport industry
