What’s the job?
We are looking for a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously to join us as the Head of Portfolio and Project Management. In this pivotal role, you will drive our project management framework and ensure alignment with our strategic objectives. You will oversee project execution, governance, and continuous improvement while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration across the organisation.
- Key responsibilities include developing robust governance standards, managing portfolio budgets, engaging stakeholders, and leading a high-performing team. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will be crucial in building strong relationships and ensuring project success.

Day-to-day accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead the strategic oversight of project management, ensuring projects align with organisational goals and are executed effectively.- Portfolio and Project Management: Develop and maintain the framework for project execution, ensuring timely, budget-compliant delivery aligned with strategic objectives.-
- Governance Oversight: Establish and enforce governance standards, manage the Portfolio Governance Committee, and monitor project performance for transparency and accountability.-
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for portfolio initiatives.-
- Continuous Improvement: Promote best practices and innovative approaches within the project management function, leveraging feedback for ongoing enhancement.This is a Full time permanent position with hybrid flexibility to work from home or a campus near you.

Who you are- Strategic leader with over 5 years of experience in project and program management, particularly within complex business and IT transformations.-
- Demonstrated history of contributing alongside senior leaders to ensure robust project planning, progress reporting, and process governance on mission-critical projects.-
- Strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build collaborative relationships, engage stakeholders effectively, and inspire high-performing teams.Why join us?
