Confluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water’s Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

Reporting to the Treatment Delivery Manager, the **Program Lead** will lead the successful, safe delivery of all the capital upgrade projects in the North Region. This role will be accountable for the strategic delivery of the projects throughout the asset lifecycle. This role leads and facilitates collaborative working across all parts of Sydney Water and the Joint Venture. You will work closely with key project stakeholders such as the Plant Team, Sydney Water SME’s and your project teams.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Program Lead has responsibility for leading and managing teams delivering projects from concept to completion, including but not limited to strategic development and implementation of the business cases, budget development and approval, design, procurement, construction and commissioning of various assets. You will ensure the development of the long term relationships with key stakeholders and foster a collaborative and integrated team culture to successfully deliver your projects.

**ABOUT YOU**
As an experienced Program Lead or Project Director, you will know and understand design and construction and all the challenges and opportunities that it brings.

You will couple this with:

- A proven track record in developing a culture that supports Zero Harm management, encouraging and rewarding excellence.
- Proven ability to develop and foster positive relationships with, and influence various key stakeholders as required to successfully deliver projects.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Experience and understanding of financial management, budget management and reporting, Schedule management.
- Proven experience in delivering complex design and construction projects, preferably from the Water or Wastewater sector.
