Our client is a highly successful industrial services provider headquartered in Melbourne. Due to the continued growth and evolution of their organisation they have identified the need to appoint an experienced supply chain professional into the newly created role of Supply Chain Manager.

**About the Opportunity**
A newly created position in the leadership team, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for assisting with definition of - and wholly responsible for leading the execution of - this organisations supply chain strategy. The Supply Chain Manager is a high-profile functional leadership role, and one that will provide strategic thinking and guidance across all areas of the business. Key accountability includes:

- Collaborating with and managing the performance of a range of 3rd party service providers encompassing logistics and software (ERP / WMS) provision.
- Establishing and leading a fit for purpose Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to better inform future decision making and optimise national inventory position.
- Designing (and continually refining) an optimised national logistics network, including warehousing and transport functions.
- Overseeing supply chain planning and capacity planning functions.
