- Annual base from $119,056 to $132,475 (HEW Level 8), plus 17% employer's superannuation contribution and annual leave loading.

About the role
IT Program Delivery team is seeking an experienced Senior Applications Specialist (M365) to join our dynamic and complex digital transformation team. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft-based solutions and involves working collaboratively with both project and IT operations teams to deliver successful outcomes.
You will have expertise in both business processes and technical systems. As a key member of the IT Applications Platform team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving M365 and Azure environments, ensuring security, performance, and compliance with government standards.
What will you do- Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Exchange.- Handle Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory.- Collaborate with cyber assurance to design secure solutions.- Configure Azure policies and establish landing zones.- Ensure projects are on time, within scope, and meet client expectations.- Work with project managers, technical teams, and clients for successful delivery.- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and milestones.- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure operational stability and security compliance.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and M365-related issues.
How to Apply
What We’re Looking For?
You have a proven track record in delivering Microsoft based projects. You take a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the capability to anticipate client needs and deliver innovative solutions that exceed expectations.- 3+ years of experience in Project Delivery within professional services and implementation in Azure Cloud.- Expertise in configuring Azure policies and landing zones.- Strong hands-on experience with Azure implementation and maintenance.- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory.- Experience in documentation and knowledge sharing within teams.- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong technical expertise in the following technologies:
- Microsoft Azure- Microsoft 365- Infrastructure (Cloud/On-Prem)
Additionally, you have:
- A keen understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, with a focus on identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing robust protective measures.- An ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
