Momoto Sushi, located on the **Level 2 of Burnside Village** in Adelaide, is a popular Japanese cuisine establishment committed to delivering high-quality food and service. We are currently seeking an experienced, proactive, and reliable Kitchen Hand to join our dedicated team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Hot Food & Fryer Operation**:

- Operating the deep fryer for items such as tempura and karaage (Japanese fried chicken).
- Assisting with the simple preparation and plating of other hot meal items.
- **Cleaning & Sanitation**:

- Washing dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment (including operating the dishwasher).
- Ensuring the kitchen area, equipment, and work surfaces are kept clean and sanitised to the highest food safety standards at all times.
- **General Kitchen Support**:

- Assisting chefs and the kitchen team with daily food preparation and mise en place tasks.
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and restaurant operational procedures.

**Essential Requirements**:

- **A minimum of one (1) year of experience** working in a commercial kitchen or fast-paced hospitality environment is essential.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and independently in a designated area.
- Familiarity with deep fryer operation is highly regarded.
- Able to handle the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods and lifting/moving supplies.
- Excellent time management and strong team player mentality.
- Must hold a valid working visa for Australia.
