​Momoto Sushi is seeking a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Hand / Kitchen Attendant to provide essential support to our busy back-of-house operations. This role is perfect for someone who is organised, energetic, and dedicated to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.

​Key Responsibilities (Your Daily Support):

​You will play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly, with tasks including:

  • ​Fryer Operation: Operating the deep fryer for cooking specific hot food items and maintaining its cleanliness.
  • ​Preparation & Stocking (Prep Work): Assisting chefs with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning ingredients) and ensuring sufficient stock is available during service.
  • ​Dishwashing & Cleaning: Operating the dishwashing machine and hand-washing all plates, utensils, pots, and pans.
  • ​Maintaining exceptional hygiene standards and cleanliness across the kitchen area, cool rooms, and storage.
  • ​Assisting with the acceptance and rotation of deliveries and stock.

​About You (Requirements):

  • ​Experience: Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar food service environment is a bonus, but not essential. We welcome all dedicated and eager-to-learn applicants.
  • ​Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry items as required in a kitchen setting.
  • ​Qualities: Must be responsible, punctual, and capable of working quickly and efficiently under direction.
  • ​Work Rights: Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
