An exciting opportunity is available for a highly motivated, passionate leader to join our team as a Dental Business Developer and Practice Manager. We are a small rapidly growing **Mobile Dental Service** serving South East Queensland. We provide children's general dental services through schools and childcare centres. We pride ourselves on being of service and making a difference in the lives of many children and their families. Our mission is to provide high quality dentistry and bring optimum oral health to as many Australian children as possible. This role will be a key position in fulfilling this mission. This position will be responsible for the overall management and development of the services working closely with the business owner/principal dentist.

**Development**
- Identify and implement growth of the service.
- Develop new partnerships.
- Optimise resources.
- Eliminate Waste.
- Support continuous improvement of the service.
- Establish and measure Key Performance Indicators.
- Develop, implement and oversee practice accreditation documentation.
- Set goals for growth and develop strategies to fulfil.

**Management**
- Support our wonderful team of clinicians, dental assistants and administration.
- Staff management including HR duties.
- Overseeing processing of claims and receipts.
- Overseeing booking of patients and processing of consent forms.
- Management and ordering of stock.
- Supporting administrative duties.
- Available to step in to drive dental van and provide dental assisting services if short staffed.
- Organise and facilitate team meetings.

**Location**

Our office and warehouse facility is located in Darra, Brisbane which is a convenient 10 minute walk from Darra train station and in walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shopping facilities.

**Skills and Attributes**
- Must have previous experience in team management including HR (performance reviews, interviewing).
- Experience as a dental assistant. Essential.
- Experience as a dental administrator/receptionist.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Provide leadership by example.
- Experience in developing and managing daily operations.
- Ability to identify waste and provide solutions to maximise resources.
- Honest, Hard Working and Trustworthy.
- Attention to detail.
- Operates with a high degree of personal integrity.
- Experience with Dental 4 Windows practice management software an advantage.
- Experience with Xero an advantage.
- Current OPEN drivers licence.

**Hours**

Initially working 2-3 days 9-5pm. With opportunity to expand as the growth of the service develops.
