**The opportunity**
The Technology Change and Release Specialist will be overseeing the transition of digital and technology programs, recommending operational changes, and monitoring the effectiveness of controls to ensure the security, availability, and performance of services.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead and maintain the Change Management process including developing change processes and procedures as required.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure changes are recorded, evaluated, and implemented following GWW policy and procedure.
- Establish and maintain a GWW Release Management process in consultation with relevant IT and Business stakeholders including third-party suppliers.
- Develop and maintain the Release schedule, balancing technical dependencies and business requirements, compliance and other priorities.
- Develop and maintain a positive collaborative team environment including business and delivery partner(s) for releases.
**Skills & Experience**
- Strong understanding of the Solution Delivery Lifecycle and relationship to Change Management & Release Management.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the ITIL best practice framework, with ITIL Certification considered advantageous.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Project Management methodologies, including Agile project delivery including Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience with Service management tools i.e. ServiceNow, Jira, Git, Jenkins and Confluence.
- Efficient and effective communication (verbal and written) and strong stakeholder relationship management.
