**The Opportunity**:
Due to increasing demand for Environmental Impact Assessment skills and capabilities, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Planning Consultant with a solid understanding of and recent experience in dealing with the State Significant Development and State Significant Infrastructure planning framework in NSW.
You will support new and existing relationships with key clients in Western Sydney, and contribute to the overall growth of the Western Sydney Office. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work on and shape some of the largest projects to elevate Western Sydney.
The role is supported by highly experienced Directors and a market-leading team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our exciting multi-disciplinary team environment to refine your skills and grow your career.

**You will**:

- Provide a high range of services including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, the approval process and management.
- Develop client relationships by building trust, providing quality advice, prepare fee proposals that respond clearly to the client needs and managing expectations.
- Writing submissions, statements and advice that accurately reflect the client's needs.
- Work alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, working to specification, to deadlines and with a commercial outcome.
- Explore opportunities, with the support of your Manager, to build your professional brand and rapport in Western Sydney through attendance at industry events and/or representation on Committees.

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience and strong track record with a similar role at similar level
- 0-3 years minimum work experience in a consultancy environment
- Good Knowledge and understanding of strategic policies, processes and influences;
- Proficient appreciation and understanding of impacts and issues affecting land use and development.
- Exposure in preparing for and presenting effectively in a variety of forums.
- Open and motivated to learn.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously
