**Librarian Customer Service Officer - Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander identified**
- Permanent part time role
- 28 hours per week
- Band 4 ($66,470 - $71,279) pro rata
- Required to work a minimum of one late shift per week and one Saturday each four weeks

Brimbank Libraries is a dynamic public library service in Melbourne’s western suburbs delivering a range of services and programs to the community to support lifelong learning, literacy and community development.
Libraries are based at Deer Park, Keilor, St Albans, Sunshine and Sydenham.
Our staff team provides customer service, resources and programs aimed at meeting the needs and interests for all in the community.

**About the role**
We are looking for a customer focussed Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander person who has a passion for working with the community.
The position provides friendly and welcoming face to face customer service. This can range helping to find information, use technology and find a great book to read or deliver a program.
Hours are spread across the week and include a late shift to 8pm and an additional Saturday each 4 weeks. Additional Sunday shifts are available. Staff are required to work at any of our library locations.

**About You**
You will be of Aboriginal Australian and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
You will be a team player who has an ability to develop and nurture strong relationships and enthusiasm to take on new challenges.
You will have competent computer skills including experience in data and record management and Microsoft Office Suite
You will have a passion for delivering customer focussed service to Brimbank’s diverse community
