**Job Summary**
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day food and beverage storeroom operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting internal controls across all inventory functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely stock availability, minimizing waste, and enhancing inventory accuracy through regular audits and collaboration with internal departments. The Inventory Coordinator may assist with training junior staff and implementing best practices for efficiency and compliance.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Inventory Management & Control**
- Coordinate daily operations of the F&B storeroom, including receiving, storing, and issuing items to hotel outlets
- Maintain accurate records of all food, beverage, and supply inventory using inventory software systems.
- Perform quarterly physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system data.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely and cost-effective replenishment.
**Audit & Compliance**
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist in inventory audits to support financial accuracy and internal controls.
- Follow inventory control procedures to reduce spoilage, loss, or theft.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and company inventory policies.
- Support periodic audit reporting and follow-up actions.
**Storeroom Organization & Efficiency**
- Ensure storeroom organization using best practices such as FIFO (First In, First Out).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and accessible storage area to comply with health and safety standards.
- Identify inefficiencies in storage or inventory flow and propose process improvements.
**Cross-Department Collaboration**
- Partner with culinary, F&B, purchasing, and finance teams to align inventory with operational needs.
- Communicate stock status, order updates, and any discrepancies with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide inventory data to support month-end reporting, cost tracking, and budget planning.
**Team Support & Oversight**
- May assist in mentoring or training junior inventory staff on proper handling and inventory procedures.
- Promote adherence to departmental processes and foster a culture of accountability and accuracy.

- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory coordination/management, ideally within a foodservice or hospitality environment.
- Experience in inventory audits, stock control, and reconciliation preferred.
**Skills**:
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to identify inventory trends and propose process improvements.
