**Our Purpose**
- United for Care offers independent living for members of the community to live in individual apartment accommodation with 24 hour support in our Vertical Villages. **The Position**

The Communications Lead is a new role responsible for executing and measuring the success of United for Care’s communications strategies. This includes managing our internal platforms such as Intranet(s), Internal newsletters and blog posts on the website(s).Reporting to the Group Marketing and Brand Manager will be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing communication plans that align with United for Care's priorities by identifying target audiences, determining key messages, selecting channels, and establishing measurable objectives.
- Collaborating with Marketing team to maintain a positive brand image through external channels, including websites and press releases, and promptly respond to inquiries and feedback.
- The creation of engaging content for various channels, including blog posts, articles, presentations, videos, and infographics.
- Enhancing team-generated content for quality and consistency, and assist in developing and reviewing key speeches and presentations for the leadership team's external presentations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information, generate ideas, and ensure cohesive messaging across departments.
- Tracking and analysing communication initiatives using KPIs and analytics tools to measure effectiveness.

**About You**

**We are Seeking someone with a passion for inclusion and a commitment to promoting,positive change through work you will have.**
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience working in a communication role, preferably in a corporate or nonprofit environment, minimum 3 years.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills, with a solid grasp of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
- Experience in crisis communication and managing media relations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
