**The Role**

As a Support Worker at Porchlight, you will work directly with NDIS participants to support their day-to-day living, social engagement, routine, and personal goals. You’ll be working with clients in their homes and local areas, helping them build skills, independence, and connection.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide practical support to participants in the community and at home
- Support clients to develop daily living skills and routines
- Assist with community access, appointments, and activities
- Build strong, professional relationships based on trust and respect
- Work collaboratively with clients to help them set and work toward personal goals
- Maintain accurate progress notes and communication with the Porchlight team
- Uphold NDIS quality and safeguarding standards

**About You**

We’re looking for support workers who are:

- **Reliable and responsible** - you show up and follow through

**Essential Requirements**
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Proof of right to work in Australia

**Desirable (but not required)**
- Mental Health First Aid
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Previous experience in disability, mental health, or community support (paid or unpaid)
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or other associated tertiary study

Pay: From $41.76 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Work Location: On the road
