Due to Rabobank growing our Work, Health and Safety team, we now have an exciting opening for a Workers Compensation & Return to Work Consultant to be based in Sydney.
**What Will Keep You Busy**:
- Overseeing the management of Workers Compensation early intervention, injury management, rehabilitation and Return to Work services and delivering successful best practice return to work outcomes across Australia
- Maintaining the Australian workers compensation insurance program and managing/negotiating premium renewals
- Providing effective and timely reporting to measure cost impacts on premiums, claims trends and benchmarking, premium forecasting
- Overseeing governance including statutory reporting
- Providing high level and strategic support to managers on managing workers compensation claims and claims costs
- Supporting the management of employee personal injury and illness cases, developing strategies to handle specific cases in consultation with the appropriate parties
- Working closely with the WHS Team to identify injury trends and develop strategies to assist in prevention of common injuries
- Identifying training requirements in relation to workers compensation and injury management for managers
- Developing training package for induction and onboarding of new managers in relation to WC and injury management requirements
**What you will bring to the role**:
- Experience in managing workers compensation and injury management for an organisation with offices in each state and territory of Australia (for working knowledge of legislation for each state and territory)
- Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders including management, staff, external providers
- Demonstrated experience in implementing effective change management projects
- Proven track record in driving significant improvements in workers compensation claims liabilities, processes and systems
- WHS qualifications including Workcover RTW Accreditation
