Coterie Wine Collection, the wholesale arm of Yarra Valley’s SOUMAH, is looking for a passionate wine sales professional to join our team.
You will predominantly work the 'on and off' premise wholesale market in Melbourne and regional Victoria representing the SOUMAH brand, imported wines from our Italian and French partners as well as wines from other Australian producers. The wholesale role will take up four days of your week with one day working at SOUMAH Cellar Door taking on various tasks including the tasting counter and also potentially membership activity. You will need to be prepared to work one weekend day at the cellar door.
This will be an ideal role for someone looking to expand their skills within the wine industry and be involved in multiple areas of our overall business. As your wholesale sales business grows we would allocate more days to wholesale and less to cellar door.
You will be given an established account base to get started which you will be expected to grow over time.
Job Requirements
Premium wine sales experience and a passion for Cool Climate wines and in particular Yarra Valley wines will be fundamental.
You will be well presented and articulate and be prepared to run and expand a territory. Although the majority of sales will be in Melbourne you will also cover a wider territory in Victoria as well.
A valid Australian drivers license is required.
