**About Operations Services**

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be accountable for partnering with the General Managers and Heads Of:
- Provide finance guidance and drive strong financial management across the OS organisation
- Build strong relationships with our customers and other finance teams
- Engage and co-ordinate with co-located teams, located in Australia and overseas
- Understand and explain the impact operational decisions have on the financial results
- Analyse data to identify trends, explain variances or validate insights
- Support the monthly forecast process and annual budget/planning process
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects
- Complete ad hoc tasks as required
**About You**:
- Professional with some experience in resources, manufacturing, finance business partnership, consulting or engineering.- Degree qualified; Commerce/Business or Engineering preferred, but not mandatory
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience and customer focus
- Independent, proactive and self-motivated and ability to think outside the box and drive change
- Understanding in commercial contracts is an advantage
As part of the recruitment process for this position you may be required to undergo a case study assessment, pre-employment medical and participate in a background screen including a criminal history check, identity check and qualifications check.
This role is based in Brisbane Office with periodical travel to site required
