We are looking for someone who is passionate about numbers, sees data analysis as a creative process, and can spot relevant data trends and patterns that may make a big impact on our clients’ objectives.
This role of Head of Insights and Innovation is designed to produce valuable insights via data and statistical analysis. You will have the input in the quantitative component of each project, using numbers to help tell the stories. Working within a fast-paced and client-centric environment, you will take on a specialist role involving the following key responsibilities:
- Manage and set up the quantitative research projects
- Design the sample for quantitative research projects
- Create valuable insights for our quantitative projects via data and statistical analysis
- Produce statistical analysis to identify relevant insights and trends
- Provide accurate reporting for our clients, and merge qualitative analysis when required
- Brainstorm and create innovative insights that drive strategy for THINK reports, and most importantly the clients’ business.
- Manage internal and external research stakeholders
**Who are we looking for?**
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field (e.g. Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing)
- Master’s degree is a plus in a related field (e.g. Business Administration, Marketing)
- More than 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Market Research
- Very strong analytical and quantitative skills including data and statistical analysis
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Knowledgeable in Q Research Software and Survey Monkey
- Experience with data processing and databases
- Experience using statistical analysis software packages (in particular SPSS)
- Experience with scripting and using online data collection software packages
- Experience in advanced multivariate analysis techniques (e.g. regression and choice modelling)
- Experience in trend/population forecasting using ABS or historical client raw data
- Ability to interpret key data trends, correlations and abnormalities

- **9am - 6pm Monday through Friday**
Ideally, you have worked in a fast-paced commercial environment, and have a thorough understanding of project set-up and delivery using strong communication skills. This is a dynamic, collaborative and delivery focused environment, so you will need strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and stakeholder engagement.
