Reporting to the Team Leader of Commercial and Infrastructure Partnerships, the Commercial and Contract Analyst provides commercial support and assistance to optimise Greater Western Water’s processes and systems to develop higher levels of operating maturity and performance in commercial, supplier management and contract governance.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide commercial support to optimise Greater Western Waters processes and systems to develop higher levels of maturity and contractor performance across the infrastructure portfolio.
- Develop and manage business analytics across the infrastructure portfolio, this includes benchmarking, analytics of the program and the data, performance monitoring of delivery partners, KPIs, insights, trends and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to provide a delivery performance uplift.
- Work within a team that provides commercial and performance expertise to the Growth & Infrastructure (G&I) and Strategy & Planning (S&P) Teams in support of the delivery of efficient and effective capital works and capability to deliver on our purpose to provide trusted water services to our customers and communities.
- Build key stakeholder relationships across Greater Western Water to ensure that capital teams have strong contract governance processes and control environments to manage commercial agreements in line with contract objectives and GWW policies and procedures.
- Work with the cost and risk team of the PMO to identify and assess strategic operational risks within G&I to ensure that risks are reported within the corporate risk framework and corporate risk appetite statement.
- Support in development of strategic partnership engagements and ongoing management and operation of these partnerships to provide support in II&P.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience working in a large corporation in Water/Construction/Operations and large-scale project environments, or a related field is preferred.
- Program and project level monitoring in large organisations managing varied commercial models developed to deliver on organisational wide objectives.
- Strategic thinker and confident in acting with a high degree of autonomy and intuition to engage in complex commercial contracts' structuring, negotiating and administration and governance.
- Highly developed strategic and analytical skills and demonstrated capacity to successfully manage broad responsibilities and complex issues at a variety of organisational levels.
- Ability to innovate and implement change and improvement initiatives.
- Experience successfully managing various complex projects or service-based contract models while solving commercial problems for business stakeholders.
