About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Contract Administrator to join Comdain's vibrant and passionate QLD team in Banyo.

The Contract Administrator will partner with the Northern Region business unit across a range on contractual and commercial matters

Comdain Infrastructure delivers end-to-end engineering and asset management services to leading utility and energy providers across Australia.

With a focus on Gas, Water and Wastewater infrastructure sectors, our success is underpinned by our resolute commitment to excellence in safety, quality, innovation and sustainability.
- Prepare the drafting of proposed agreement and associated tender documentation;
- Prepare qualitative tender responses and conduct tender negotiations where required;
- Assess commercial and contractual risks involved in delivery and implementation of projects and identify and implement controls.
- Preparing sign-off advice to enable execution of agreements in accordance with corporate procedures;
- Check compliance and prepare reporting on commercial performance of the contract.
- Manage agreements to ensure that Code compliance is always maintained.
- Manage the administration of subcontractors, suppliers and consultants regarding payments and changes in accordance with the agreements.
- Assist with Client progress claim, variations and reporting
- Review financial performance of agreements and assist with the improvement of performance;
- Monitor contractual and legal compliance and accordingly respond to incidents and issues as they arise.
- Assist with Internal monthly reporting.

We are looking for an individual with;
- 3-5 years experience in providing contract administration to an engineering, construction or projects team.
- Post graduate qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Business, Construction, Property, Quantity Surveying, Law or other associated disciplines desirable.
- Intermediate to advanced level in MS Office suite (specifically Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
- Effective communication, time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
