- Clerk Grade 3/4, Salary $82,193 - $90,001 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
- Based in Sydney CBD

**About the role**

Working as part of a larger team, the Finance Support Officer provides financial and administrative support services to ensure financial data captured is of the highest quality. You will be adept at balancing a range of conflicting priorities in a high workload and dynamic environment to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to achieve business outcomes.

**Key tasks will include**:

- Prepare journals, transaction processing and reconciliations to accurately capture and processing of revenue and expenditure.
- Regularly analyse accounts and data and take the necessary corrective action to ensure financial data has been captured correctly and is of a high quality to support accurate and consistent reporting of financial information both internally and externally.
- Review systems, processes and contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives that support business systems and reconciliation process improvements.
- Provide financial administrative support to facilitate the preparation, monitoring and delivery of financial services.
- Provide customer service, guidance, assistance and advice to staff to support optimal service delivery.
- Contribute to process improvement and the maintenance of policies, procedures and guidance materials to support effective and efficient service delivery.

**About you**

The successful applicant has a growth mindset with preferable experience in a similar setting. You want to work in a high-volume environment, and you also want to work with stakeholders and preferably has SAP system experience. You are flexible with changing priorities and can support the team when required. Above all, you will be highly organised and thrive on process improvement both within the team and across the department.
