This **Part Tim**e** Clinical Assistant** position is located at our **North Hobart clinic** (must be available on Monday's & Tuesday's between 6am - 10pm)**.** As a Clinical Assistant, you will provide invaluable support to our medical imaging departments, ensuring patients receive high-quality radiology services.

**On a day to day y**ou will**:
- Provide assistance to medical imaging staff and pathology service providers, including processing medical images, obtaining blood results and assisting patients in preparing for appointments.
- Ensure facilities and imaging equipment within the clinic are at a high level of cleanliness.
- Collect, package and store infectious waste/sharps and used developing/fixing solutions in accordance to national standards and company policies.
**About You**
Alongside your excellent people skills and professional attitude, you will also have:
- A proven ability to work as a highly effective team member and take initiative to anticipate the needs of the medical imaging team.
- The ability to ensure privacy, dignity and confidentiality of patients are maintained at all times.
- Sound computer skills including word processing (Experience with Radiology Software is highly desired).
- Previous experience and understanding of a radiology or medical practice (highly regarded).
- Experience with cannulation is desirable.
