Clinical Quality Coordinator

Permanent Part Time (0.6FTE) with the opportunity to work Full Time by adding Registered Nurse shifts.

What we need

A highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as our Clinical Quality Coordinator.

The role is permanent part time (0.6FTE) and will be based in the South of the State working across both Bishop Davies Court and Barossa Park Lodge with the opportunity to work full time by adding Registered Nurse shifts.

What will you do?

Reporting to the Manager of Quality and Compliance your role will include:

  • Support Services prepare for and maintain accreditation standards (ACQSC & NDIS)
  • Undertake quality initiatives including continuous improvement and supporting each service to put into practice recommendations from quality reports
  • Develop, design and implement quality clinical initiatives across residential and homecare services to meet all legislation and clinical care standards in the delivery of health and agreed outcomes to our consumers and participants.
  • Assist services to develop and implement quality systems and continuous improvements plans
  • Assist services to use quality data to inform and implement improvements
  • Mentor senior clinical staff at all services to strengthen and improve contemporary practice
  • Provide regular and adhoc reports as required
  • Provide advice and training in relation to clinical compliance to meet legislative requirements

What you bring to the role

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration with no conditions
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to build capability
  • Demonstrated experience in management roles within the aged care or health sectors
  • Solid understanding of Aged Care and NDIS regulatory framework
  • Aged Care nursing experience minimum 3 years
  • Working knowledge of AutumnCare or similar electronic care system
  • Sound judgement and analytical skills
  • Post graduate qualification in Aged Care (desirable)
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People Check NDIS endorsed
  • Current Australian Driver's licence as there is travel within the role
