**The Role**
We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager who wants to use their leadership and operational skills to lead a small team providing research administration and executive support to Maritime Division. You will have a strong customer service outlook, a strategic perspective, and like working in a collaborative environment. The role is highly varied, and operates in a fast tempo. Working with your team to align their activities to organisational goals and implement solutions, you will also be able to contribute to the current corporate and cultural transformational change within DST Group.

Key duties include:

- Leadership and management of the Divisional Operations Team functions and tasking;
- Accountable for leading the team by providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people;
- Accountable for accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality assurance of the teams outputs;
- Responsible for building collaborative relationships throughout the Division, DST Group, Site Teams and Defence in order to provide high quality Divisional Operations Team services;
- Manage the development, planning and delivery of collaboration requirements for the Division, including major visits, events, travel, executive support, Divisional communication and knowledge management; and
- Contribute to the development and planning of strategic staffing requirements for the Division, and manage the delivery of the resultant workforce requirements.

**About our Team**
Maritime Division is accountable for the delivery of the maritime domain innovation, science and technology program drawing on innovation from across the domestic and international innovation, science and technology enterprise. We partner with DSTG’s S&T capability development divisions, Navy, CASG and NSSG, to deliver an integrated maritime domain program. We support the maritime Capability Programs, the national naval shipbuilding program, the nuclear powered submarine program, and Navy’s innovation programs. We are also home to the Remote Undersea Surveillance STaR Shot, the Quantum Assured Position Navigation and Timing STaR Shot, and the Multi-Function Aperture Grand Challenge.
