The Bend Motorsport Park is seeking a highly capable **Motorsport Operations Assistant Manager** to act as 2IC to the Motorsport & Operations Manager. This critical role oversees the daily delivery of motorsport and operational functions across both The Bend and Mallala, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence. This position suits a hands-on leader with strong motorsport knowledge, operational oversight experience, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver high-performance events. **About the Role**: Reporting directly to the Motorsport & Operations Manager, the Motorsport Operations 2IC is responsible for the coordinated delivery of day-to-day activities at both The Bend and Mallala. The role plays a key part in resourcing, staff scheduling, compliance management, and overall track and venue operations. Together with Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, Mallala is part of a family dedicated to preserving motorsport history while delivering thrilling, modern experiences. **What will you be responsible for?** In this pivotal role, you will: - Support the Motorsport & Operations Manager in day-to-day operations across The Bend and Mallala. - Lead the planning and delivery of circuit racing, Dragway, and Karting events. - Oversee event staffing, rostering, and compliance with sanctioning body standards. - Manage logistics including track readiness, timetables, briefings, and site presentation. - Act as the main contact for competitors, teams, and officials throughout events. - Monitor budgets and drive new business opportunities to maximise precinct value. - Build strong relationships with partners, sponsors, and government bodies. - Step into the Motorsport & Operations Manager role as required. **About You**: You are an _A-player_—a high-performing, solutions-focused professional with a passion for motorsport and operational excellence.
