**About the role**:
As the Regulatory Standards Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in assessing legislative impacts and implementing capability uplift initiatives across EPA. Reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Standards, you'll lead programs to develop and maintain regulatory standards, supporting compliance and enforcement efforts.
**In this role you will**:
To be successful in this role you will be required to (not limited to):
- Manage and lead the regulatory codification process at EPA to support decision-making by authorised officers and delegates.
- Establish strong connections with regulatory decision makers across various branches, including Operations and Permissions, to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Lead a high-performing team to achieve regulatory excellence and foster a positive culture.
- Develop and maintain regulatory standards to support compliance and enforcement efforts.
- Oversee the central depository of internal knowledge and ensure consistency in messaging.
**Skills and experience**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science or related discipline.
- Senior experience in policy and regulation development, preferably within Government.
- Advanced people management skills and proven ability to deliver team projects effectively.
- Demonstrated focus on accountability, professionalism, and transparency.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaboration.
