
Junior Credit Officer

This role is the perfect opportunity for someone to jump start their career in credit and it will allow you to grow and develop further in your credit career.
**About the role**:
Your role will include ensuring regular risk assessments are carried out, customers are invoiced promptly and overdue payments are proactively followed up in line with Cement Australia’s current credit policy. In addition, as a Credit Officer you will liaise with other key areas of Cement Australia to:
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) processing in line within the set guidelines (Banking, Allocation, Sundry Invoicing & Journals);
- Be responsible for the day to day management and control of the Regional, Government, Associate and Cash Sales;
- Provide a high level of customer service to all customers and stakeholders;
- Closely monitor customer approved credit limits to ensure they are in compliance with Cement Australia Credit Policy;
- Provide support for other team members as requested by the National Credit Manager.
**About you**:
- Previous experience in customer account reconciliations (advantageous)
- Highly motivated, reliable and a team player
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willing and fast learner
- Proven problem solving and resolution skills
- Dedicated to starting a career in credit and willing to undergo training and
