**Recruitment Consultant**

**Purpose**
- A Recruitment Consultant is responsible for sourcing relationships with clients and key decision makers to develop business opportunities.
- Recruitment Consultants are also responsible for maximising revenue from major/key/named client accounts in order to achieve agreed revenue targets/sales quotas and ensure complete customer satisfaction when dealing with the organisation.
**Responsibilities**
- Business Development_
- Develop appropriate pipeline to achieve current and future year’s quota
- Development and maintenance of relevant industry contacts
- Continual development of strategic sales/consulting engagement and skills
- Identifying and developing client/new business relationships
- Expanding and nurturing opportunities with clients we have
- Assessing and responding to the needs of each particular client or assignment
- Networking to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities
- _ Placements_
- Managing the process through the interview to offer stage and beyond
- Offering CV, interview and general career advice
- Support after care processes
- _ Reporting_
- Production of detailed Opportunity and Pipeline analysis/forecast reports
- Mentoring and support of Halcyon Knights staff involved in salesprocesses.
**Competencies & Knowledge**
- Proven sales/consulting ability including a track record in outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Consultative approach to business development with highly developed interpersonal/relationship building skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong commercial business acumen
- The ability to overcome objections and be persistent
- Learning orientated with active industry involvement and a desire to go the extra mile
- Account coverage and campaign analysis capability
- Experience in the use of corporate sales tools including CRM systems
**Experience**
- Relevant Recruitment/Software/Business solutions sales experience
- Proven experience in direct sales within a services environment;
- Experienced in vertical markets of relevance is beneficial
- Experienced in selling large dollar value solutions and projects and building sustainable client relationships;
- Experienced with long sales cycles (3-12 months)
- Experienced in selling to senior business leaders
- Successful sales record;
- Preferably degree qualified in Business and/or related discipline or be working towards tertiary business qualifications.
