The Opportunity
CSR Interior Systems is seeking a dynamic and experienced Materials Manager to join our team at our Wetherill Park, NSW location.
As a Materials Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and exceeding business targets. Join us and make a significant impact on our success

Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedule and Align Production: You will be responsible for scheduling all plants in the NSW Gyprock factory, ensuring timely delivery based on our business IBP Process. Your coordination skills will be essential in meeting production demands
- Ensure Material Availability: Your focus will be on ensuring all materials are available to meet and exceed our business targets for performance. With your attention to detail, production lines will run smoothly and efficiently
- Active Participation in IBP Meetings: Actively engage in monthly and weekly IBP meetings and cycles to ensure adherence to the process. Your involvement will contribute to effective decision-making and process improvement
- Supply Chain Management: Identify and raise any supply chain issues, escalating them, as necessary. Your proactive approach will help us maintain a seamless supply chain and resolve potential challenges promptly
- Implement SAP Initiatives: Stay updated with evolving SAP initiatives for GFS operations and implement them effectively. Your expertise in SAP will contribute to enhancing our materials management processes
- Procurement and Scheduling: Implement materials procurement and scheduling based on S&OP model requirements. Your strategic approach will ensure a streamlined procurement process aligned with business goals
- Cost-Effective Procurement: Achieve cost-effective procurement results for materials sourced for GFB operations. Your negotiation skills and market knowledge will enable us to optimize costs without compromising quality
- Product and Process Development: Participate in the development of new products and processes, including new products, SAP implementation, and store layout. Your input will contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.
- SAP Super User: As an SAP super user, you will utilise your in-depth knowledge to leverage the system's capabilities and support the organization in achieving operational excellence.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all materials, both current and potential, have up to date MSDS's in the site register and that the information is appropriately distributed within the operations area. Conduct risk assessments for new materials prior to production use. Comply with WHSE authorities in accordance with the responsibilities matrix.

About You
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Materials Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of materials management principles, including procurement, scheduling, and supply chain management
- Proficiency in SAP and other relevant materials management software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
