Operations Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Team Leadership**: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of electricians and site personnel, providing guidance and fostering a positive work environment.
- ** Project Coordination**: Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing projects, ensuring optimal use of resources, materials, and labor to meet deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- ** Simpro Management**: Utilise **Simpro** software to manage job workflows, track project progress, allocate resources, schedule jobs, and generate reports.
- ** High-Voltage Systems**: Oversee projects involving **high-voltage cabling, switchgear, and related equipment**, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
- ** Compliance**: Ensure all projects and activities comply with industry regulations, including safety standards, AS/NZS 3000:2018 wiring rules, and Nebula Elecs internal policies.
- ** Client Management**: Communicate with clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- ** Operational Efficiency**: Monitor the efficiency of daily operations, identifying areas for improvement, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity.
- ** Reporting**: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation using Simpro, including progress reports, site photos, and material usage, and submit them to upper management.
- ** Safety Oversight**: Enforce all safety protocols and ensure that all team members follow proper procedures, using the correct tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- ** Inventory Management**: Coordinate the availability and proper use of tools, equipment, and materials on-site, ensuring mínimal wastage and avoiding delays.
- ** Training & Development**: Assist in identifying skill gaps and providing ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to maintain high-quality standards.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an operations or supervisory role, preferably within the electrical or construction industry.
- ** Simpro Experience**: Proven ability to use **Simpro** for project management, scheduling, job tracking, and reporting.
- ** High-Voltage Knowledge**: Experience with **high-voltage cabling, switchgear, and related systems** is highly desirable.
- ** Education**: Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field. A trade license is highly desirable.
- ** Technical Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, AS/NZS 3000:2018 standards, and general construction practices.
- ** Leadership Skills**: Proven ability to manage teams, including conflict resolution, performance management, and motivating diverse teams.
- ** Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients, staff, and upper management.
- ** Problem Solving**: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- ** Time Management**: Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- ** Safety Certifications**: Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the electrical and construction industries. First aid and WHS certifications are a plus.

**Working Conditions**:

- ** Location**: Wetherill Park, With Job-site visits regularly.
