We are partnering with a global industrial powerhouse with multiple industry-leading segments. A new People and Culture Manager opportunity has arisen in one of their ANZ businesses that manufacture and distribute building products and materials. This is a business unit of around 100 people in Australia, located in Wetherill Park, with on-site parking available.

Reporting to a Regional People and Culture Director, you will be responsible for working autonomously, advising at the senior leadership level, and overseeing all aspects of People and Culture for two key sites in Victoria and NSW, which will be a mix of blue-collar, sales & marketing, service, and finance.

You will play a pivotal role in this generalist HR position, working as an HR business partner, and operationally across the employee life cycle, which includes building capability through talent management programs, performance management and ER/IR support, organisational design, and cultural change management. Working closely as a key business partner to the ANZ leaders, you will also establish and improve HR policies and processes. The business will be launching Workday in the next 12 months, so HRIS implementation experience would also be ideal.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience as an HR Generalist at Business Partner or operating at a manager level, and be comfortable as an individual contributor, and be able to work in both blue and white collar environments. You will be hands-on, and ready to influence leaders on contemporary, innovation and able to drive behavioural change at the managerial level, with a consultative, open-door policy, and a credible approach. You will be collaborative, and commercial with the ability to quickly build trust with your key stakeholders.
