Helia EHS is an Australian owned and operated consultancy business. We provide environmental and safety consultancy services to the public and private sectors. We have qualified practitioners in environmental and safety consulting, with particular expertise in: soil, surface water, groundwater and soil vapour assessment; contaminated land management; indoor and ambient air quality; noise assessment; management systems and asbestos / hazardous material identification and management.

The successful applicant will report to the Manager on a daily basis, some of the following tasks are as follows:

- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Cashflow projections and financial forecasting
- Payroll and Superannuation (including EOFY reporting)
- Payroll Tax preparation and lodgement (including Payroll Tax
- annual reconciliation)
- Invoicing assistance
- Reconciliation of all accounts and reporting to management
- Reimbursements of expenses to employees
- Accounting for GST and preparation of quarterly Business
- Activity Statement (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statement
- (IAS) and lodgement
- Preparation of all financial end of month and end of year
- reporting and presenting to management
- Assistance with budget preparation and monitoring
- Internal systems and processes improvements
- Reporting to Director and General Manager on financial
- company information
- Annual Work Cover analysis and update
- Routine financial analysis on the company profit and loss
- Statements

To be considered for this position the successful applicant will need to have the following qualifications or skills:
Most occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
Registration or licensing may be required.
