My client is one of Western Australia’s leading litigation and dispute resolution firm. With one of the largest litigation teams in Western Australia, their high performing team has the capability and experience to effectively handle the largest and most complex disputes.

Due to an internal promotion, they are currently seeking an immediately available experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their Tier One law firm. This is located in their newly fitted out new office in the heart of the CBD.

Initial contract will be for full time (or at least a 0.8x load), four weeks contract, with the potential for permanency from there, based on fit and workflow

Your day-to-day tasks will include, but not be limited to:

- Overseeing of the firms billing function including coordination with the firms billing cycle and working closely with their legal and administration teams.
- Dealing with all invoice enquiries and receipting of client payments (including trust receipts).
- Adhering to the firm’s debtor policy and required deadlines.
- Working closely with the legal team to ensure a robust relationship with their clients.
- Handling debtor enquiries.
- Preparation of regular debtor reports for the Executive Committee.

- Experience in the legal, accounting or other professional services firm environment will be highly regarded but not essential.
- Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
- Familiarity with the operation of trust accounts is highly regarded but not essential.
- An understanding of complex bills.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with MS Suit.
