**About the role**

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. We are looking for a People Advisor to join our team for a 12-month opportunity to partner with leaders and employees, driving success across a range of people-related matters. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring alignment with ART’s goals and values, while creating a high-performance culture that promotes employee engagement, compliance, and effective workforce processes.

This role gives you a chance to continue developing your people advisory skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment at an exciting time of transformation.

Day to day, you'll:

- Partner with leaders to provide guidance and advice to employees on workplace matters, including performance management, conflict resolution and grievance handling.
- Assist leaders in resolving employee relations issues in alignment with policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing queries, concerns, and providing guidance on policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Provide advice to leaders in identifying and addressing skill gaps and training needs to improve performance outcomes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver programs that support mental health, work-life balance, and diversity.
- Provide support with organisational change initiatives and/or cyclical activities.

This role is a 12-month max-term/ secondment opportunity.

**About you**

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- Proven experience in HR/People role, ideally in a generalist or advisory capacity.
- Experience with performance management and grievance handling.
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships.
- Developed experience in leading and coaching leaders with - People planning, Performance management, Employee relations, Change management, Talent management
- Problem-solving skills and practice, solutions-focused approach.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
