**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Advisor to join the team in Brisbane the AMAzing Group People team. Reporting to the General Manager - People be the first point of contact for People queries and an essential part of our employee experience. This is a permanent fulltime role and you will be provided with opportunities for growth, stability and security as part of the bigger AMA Group.

**Role responsibilities**

Deliver a consistent, customer focused ‘first point resolution’ People service to all employees through:

- Ensuring professional advice, expertise and support on first level employee and manager enquiries and handing off more complex queries to People Partners
- Providing advice to managers on People policies, procedures and employment law
- Building your expertise for career progression to People Partner level
- Working as part of a team provide a high level and consistent employee experience across the AMA Group
- Involvement In People projects and annual People cycle activities
- Design and map procedures to enhance the capabilities of business leaders

**Does this sound like you?**
- A degree or certificate In HR or related area
- Knowledge of employee relations, awards, national employment standards, Fair Work Act
- High level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Analytical mindset and process orientated
- Knowledge of Employment Law, Awards and People policies
- A solutions focus and good problem solving skills
- Strong systems experience to improve process and workflow
- Strong customer service focus and ability to lead a team with high volume and fast pace
