**The Role**
Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems Land SPO (EWIS Land SPO) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Officer to help coordinate testing activities at our cutting edge, open air laboratory facility. The Test Support Officer will be based in Adelaide and provide technical and logistics support to testing activities at our remote facility in Nurrungar, South Australia.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring test equipment is maintained and calibrated
- Ensuring timely distribution of test equipment and other stores to and from the test facility from other SPO locations around Australia.
- Contributing to plans to ensure the safe conduct of test activities.
- Providing safety briefs to personnel.
- Contributing to test activities, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Liaison with external Government and private industry stakeholders

As part of a small team that evaluates vehicle mounted, RF transmitter systems, you will contribute to the planning and conduct of complex test programs at the Nurrungar facility.

**About our Team**

The EWIS Land SPO Engineering Team is comprised of members with diverse skills and disciplines who work together to provide engineering support a wide variety of activities undertaken by EWIS Land SPO.
- Work autonomously, display high levels of initiative and judgment.
- Perform complex technical activities working to agreed priorities and outcomes.
- Coordinate large scale activities with multiple stakeholders both in and out of Government.
- Ensure the safe and efficient conduct of complex test activates at a remote facility.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess excellent communication and people management skills.
- Be willing to work at our remote Nurrungar facility for up to two weeks at a time, potentially six times a year.
