**The Role**
The Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems (MIWS) Branch acquires, delivers, and sustains complex mission and support systems to provide capabilities to Defence. MIWS operates within a fast paced and dynamic working environment - always busy, never dull, and no two days are the same.

To support the complex capabilities MIWS delivers to Defence, we are seeking a professional APS 5 Integrated Logistics Officer to be part of our team.

As a Logistics Officer in MIWS, you will:

- Utilise outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills to work with integrated teams across Defence and Industry;
- Utilise expertise in the broad ILS disciplines to provide reliable professional advice on a range of acquisition and sustainment challenges; and
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure mission and support system supportability outcomes are met.
- This position will provide good work, and a growth pathway in complex and diverse programs - stretching decades - setting you up for a successful career in the field of logistics.
- In the Supply Support function, you will work across multiple projects and products, where you are likely to encounter both ITAR and EC materials.

MIWS Branch under Major Surface Combatants and Combat Systems Division is an exciting and complex environment to work in. We work across both Acquisition and Sustainment environments to develop and deliver products into new shipbuilding programs and to provide update/upgrade products to the existing RAN fleet.
