Sydney, Australia Neara Full time

Neara is a high-growth, venture-backed Series C, tech company with offices around the world. Recognised as one of the Times 100 Most Influential Companies of 2024, our vision is to change how the world operates, builds and designs critical infrastructure. Our mission goes beyond traditional infrastructure - we're creating digital twins of physical networks that enable global energy transformation. Through our advanced 3D modeling platform, we are helping utilities worldwide prepare for climate challenges, integrate renewable energy, and build resilient systems that will power the next century. It's about creating technology that shapes the future of the planet's most critical systems.

We're looking for a motivated Account Executive—someone like you—who brings 2-3 years of experience and a passion for blending geospatial solutions with commercial strategy. If you have a strong technical foundation, especially in areas like utilities, infrastructure, or geospatial technology, and you're excited to grow your career in a customer-facing, business development role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

**What you will do**:

- Prospect, engage, and qualify new opportunities within utility and infrastructure accounts, leveraging existing industry knowledge and technical familiarity.
- Conduct outreach to new and existing accounts, identifying business needs and aligning Neara’s digital twin and geospatial solutions with client priorities.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including asset managers, network planners, and engineering leaders.
- Coordinate product demonstrations, discovery meetings, and solution workshops in collaboration with Neara’s technical and solutions engineering teams.
- Support the preparation of proposals, sales materials, and business cases, highlighting ROI, operational benefits, and risk mitigation outcomes enabled by Neara.
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting within the CRM.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and infrastructure challenges impacting utilities and infrastructure clients.

**Who you are**:

- 2-3 years of professional experience in business development, account management, preferably in utilities, infrastructure, or geospatial technology.
- Background in engineering, technical consulting, or infrastructure project support with exposure to utilities, network operators, or asset management processes.
- Strong understanding of geospatial solutions, asset visualisation, and network simulation technologies (experience with Neara is highly advantageous).
- Proven ability to engage accounts through proactive outreach, relationship building, and value-driven conversations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

**What we are offering you**:

- Competitive salary
- Meaningful ESOP
- Flexible working arrangements with a fully stocked office in Redfern.
- Regular office events
- The real benefit is working on a genuinely complex, innovative and industry leading product making a genuine difference in the world around us.

Please note, you will require current and unrestricted working rights to be considered for the role. Unfortunately we are not in a position to offer visa sponsorship at this time.
