About the role:
This position is to provide technical, process and sales support for the SRP sales and engineering teams, and other Sandvik Rock Processing Australia departments, supporting business development of Screenex products.
Specifically, you will:
- Manage and grow existing customer sales.
- Identify new growth opportunities for Screenex products.
- Assist in developing a strategy to grow the Screening Media business nationally.
- Support the service team to ensure customer expectations are being met and or exceeded.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure good understanding of key site process concerns.
- Work with equipment sales team to maximise sales of screens with Screenex deck systems.
- Build an in depth understanding of processes at customers sites to enable informed media choices, to maximise efficiencies.
- Ensure complaints, enquiries and sales opportunities are actioned in a timely manner.
- Drive and support innovation and development of new screening media products.
- Identify competitor new offerings and provide feedback to sales and R&D teams.
- Support training and development of sales team to further their product and screening process understanding.
- Be aware of and comply with Sandvik Rock Processing Australia Health and Safety Management System and procedures.
- Be aware of and comply with Customer Occupational Health Safety and Environment systems.
- Keep management informed of business opportunities & threats as it relates to Sandvik Rock Processing Australia group.
- Complete required reporting in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist management with budget preparation and forecasting.
To be successful in the above duties, You will have:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in mineral processing operations
- A mechanical trade background or proven mechanical aptitude.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office/SAP/CRM Systems
- Ability to work in an environment that promotes a high-performance culture.
- Ability to think laterally and assist with R&D
- Hold current full C class licence.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication, planning and organising skills.
- Outcomes driven.
