**About Geotrace Australia**

Geotrace Australia are the most experienced utility locating company in Australia. Our founder, Darryl Critcher was the **first utility locator in Australia** back in 1985. Darryl has since stepped down as Director and has passed the reigns onto his son, Antony Critcher, who also has 18 years of experience in utility locating and concrete scanning. Antony is now the Owner/Director of Geotrace Australia and has an experienced team working alongside him.

**What is the role?**

We are seeking an experienced Utility Locator to join our team. This role will include, but is not limited to:

- Locating subsurface utilities to AS5488.1.2019, using both EM Locators and Ground Penetrating Radars.
- Concrete Scanning to identify structures within the slab.
- Concrete coring and cutting.
- Operating a Non Destructive Excavation Truck.
- Reading and understanding BYDA plans.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with clients.

**You will have**:

- Current Class C Drivers License
- Construction Industry White Card
- Experience locating subsurface utilities to AS5488.1.2019
- Experience using EM locators and Ground Penetrating Radars
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to exceptional customer service
- Willingness to learn new skills
- A positive and professional attitude to work and safety.

**Preferred, but not essential**:

- BYDA Certification
- RIICCM202E
- RIW Certification
- Autocad experience
- Experience in operating various locating equipment including RD8100's, GSSI GPR's, Structure Scan Mini XT, Sondes, Rodding and Marker-Ball Locator.
