Government agency is searching for a positive and strategic APS6 Communications Officer to join their team
Your new company
Based in the south of Canberra, this unique Government agency is searching for a positive and strategic “out of the box” orientated APS6 Communications Officer to join their team.

Your new role
Excited to broaden your horizon whilst being supported? Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will assist in developing and managing communications campaigns. Your other duties will include, but not limited to:

- creating and managing the production of a range of communications products including social media and web content, print products and blogs
- drafting of media releases, speaking points, FAQs and responding to media inquiries, plus management of the media
- assisting with communications advice, plans, and strategies

What you'll need to succeed

- high levels of communication skills. With the ability to listen, understand and adapt to different audiences
- your ability to show judgement and sound decision-making skills
- highly adaptable with a synergistic approach to achieve results within your team
