Multiple APS6 Communication & Media Experts required for 12 month non-ongoing contracts.

**Your new company**
A central agency that delivers high profile programs and policies that maintain Australia's law and justice framework. Their Communications & Media team requires the support of multiple experienced APS6 Communication & Media Officers to be engaged through non-ongoing contracts for 12 months with the view for an extension.

**Your new role**
Our client is looking for an experienced and professional Communication & Media Officers who can work within a collaborative team and drive towards quality outcomes. Your new role will see you responsible for:

- Support business areas to develop and implement communication strategies to deliver on major pieces of work and work towards tight deadlines.
- Develop content for social media channels of the department.
- Foster and be able to work in a collaborative approach with the media sector, government bodies and ministerial offices.
- Work across all communication functions including media, online communication, and internal communication. As well as participating in the media on-call roster for additional remuneration.

**What you'll need to succeed**
As well as being a communication & media extraordinaire you will have the following skills:

- Experience in one of the following and the interest in developing skills in the others: media liaison and management, online communication content development, social media content development or videography or photography
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills as well as a great judgement to allow problem solving.
- A great ability to work independently and work cohesively within a small team.
- A flexible and can-do attitude to move between all aspects of the communication team and be a team player who is happy to work outside of your core function.

As well as the above you must be an Australian Citizen with a baseline clearance or the ability to obtain one.
