**About Us**:
Stretton State College is a high performing P-12 College.
We are a high performing school with an enrolment of approximately 3430 students across our primary (Gowan) and secondary (Illaweena) campuses. As we enter our eleventh year at Stretton State College we are excited to welcome new students and community members to our College.
We have worked to establish a school which has a strong values base, and strives to ensure a culture of high expectations for students and staff. Our school is one where students look forward to the challenges and opportunities each day, with an increasing focus on eLearning and the advancements of digital learning.
**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Demonstrate high quality leadership that directly influences the engagement, improvement, achievement and wellbeing of staff and students.
- Demonstrate positive relationships/partnerships between staff, students and parents in order to support the engagement of all students and to promote positive learning outcomes.
- Empowering every student to experience academic success through inclusive practices that enable access, participation purposeful engagement and yearly growth in learning.Develop the capability of teachers and leaders within the school community that has a focus on being collaborative and strategic.
- An understanding of OneSchool timetabling would be an advantage in this role.
- Uphold the Deputy Principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with parents, and other relevant stakeholders.
