**Your new company**

This company are one of the largest exporters and distributors of Malt in the Geelong region, and they are seeking a Sales and Operations Planning Officer to join their dynamic team in a full-time capacity.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments such as Logistics, Sales, Operations, Finance and Procurement. You will play a supporting role in ensuring effective relationships are maintained with internal and external stakeholders and provide adequate reporting across the organisation to ensure compliance is maintained.

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Lead the S&OP process and the production/ demand review
- Calculate projected stocks
- Lead the monthly S&OP meeting
- Work with the Sales Department to develop and improve the reliability of customer forecasts
- Generate all necessary inputs to build and assist the production managers in the construction of their productions planning
- Report on S&OP on a monthly basis and participate in group projects
- Ensure adherence and obligation to observe all environment and health requirements for a safe workplace in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 & Environment Protection Act 2017

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with intermediate Excel skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to meet deadlines and triage tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships & work collaboratively with clients & peers of all levels
- High level of data entry and data accuracy with high attention to detail
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated success and experience in a similar role
- Experience with SAP program highly advantageous
